Welcome to the Wall Of Sound.

Wall of Sound Studio was established in 2000, but owner/engineer/producer John Wall has been recording music most of his life. From his first 4-track recorder as a pre-teen, to the full-scale studio he runs today, he has turned his passion into magic for all those who have worked with him.

Along with a great set of ears, the personal attention that Wall gives each of his clients is what makes his studio an exceptional recording facility. Known for putting in many extra hours of his own time to perfect a mix, Wall is not your average studio owner. He takes all his projects personally as if they were his very own. The musician-friendly atmosphere, attention to detail, and a genuine love for the creativity of the recording process are only a few of the many reasons that Wall of Sound has managed to accumulate multiple awards in music production and engineering. Whether you're looking for guidance and production ideas, or just someone to capture the sound you want, Wall of Sound is a great choice for your next project.

In recent news:

It's been an exciting year so far for Wall of Sound. To start the year off Wall of Sound made the long anticipated upgrade to a full scale Pro Tools HD3 system. The options available are now in the realm of unbelievable, and the sound quality is a step above. Along the way the studio was given a fresh new look and as a result the recording experience you'll enjoy with us will be nothing short of sublime.

As if that wasn't enough excitement, the New Mexico Music Awards recently announced the nominations for this year's awards show. Wall of Sound received an all time high of 19 nominations! These nominations span across 14 different categories, from Hip-Hop to Americana, from Adult Contemporary to Metal, and includes a Best Engineer nomination for the second year in a row, plus the elusive Best Producer nomination. The diversity of the categories alone makes us very proud! Congratulations to all of the following Wall of Sound clients on their nominations this year: Anesthesia; The Attic Banned; Brokencyde; Buzzy B. Goode; Jarret & the Cornerstones; Linda Johnson; Ryan McGarvey; Nunchuk; and Ten Cats Laughing. Thank you all so much for trusting me with your music. I enjoyed every minute of it.
